Dry Ice .. How to make it?
is a solid form of carbon dioxide, also known as solid carbon dioxide. Dry ice is prepared by pressurizing and freezing carbon dioxide gas until it liquefies. The pressure is then rapidly reduced by vaporizing the liquid carbon dioxide, resulting in snow-like solid carbon dioxide that is further compressed into various shapes, depending on the purposes.
There are various types if dry ice, as follows:
- Block : size 10 kilograms
- Slide : size 1 kilogram
- Pellet : diameter size 3 millimeters
